Karankawa tribe
Clothing
The Karankawa Indians lived where it was always hot or at least most of the time, so they wore very little clothing. The men wore simple breach clothes made out of deer skin that the women made for them. Women wore grass skirts, and the children went naked.
The Karankawa Indians covered their bodies in bold tattoos. They wore animal fat or mud as bug bite protection, because their was a lot of bugs where they lived, but it was all worth it for the weather.
The men often wore braids but the women did not because the womens hair was often shorter than the mens hair. Both the womens and the mens hair was mostly black, long, and thin. The women rarely wore necklaces or bracelets but the men wore bracelets and neckaces that had seashells on them.
